Scholarship Scheme

The August CamTEFL course was strengthened by the first Cambodian on our scholarship programme. Ou Hong leaves us with many more ideas for teaching. More importantly his exposure to the participants and trainers have affirmed his beliefs that student centred values and communicative approaches can be applied to Cambodia. He takes this back to benefit the teachers that he trains for the state schools in the Battambang area.

Rory McCormack graduated in December 2009 and his course was paid for by the CRDT. Rory volunteered for severalmonths in Kratie before the course and the aim was for him to facilitate a future English programme for the staff at CRDT.
